The Frederick Woman’s Civic Club, Inc. invites you to join the Mardi Gras Ball’s Royal Court as a Princess at our upcoming Mardi Gras Ball. We will be honoring young women who are Juniors, Seniors or College Freshmen in Frederick County Public and private schools by recognizing their accomplishments and their commitment to our community. One Princess is randomly selected through a Charm Ceremony as Queen and crowned at our Princess Tea which will be held January 14, 2018, from 2-4 PM at Steiner House. The Queen will receive a $1000 scholarship for her continuing education. In addition, on January 28, 2018, from 10-1 PM a fun community project at Steiner House.
At the Mardi Gras Ball, each Princess will be presented and honored in front of the Frederick community. Princesses wear long, pastel or white ball gowns and are escorted by their parent/s or someone else they choose. This is a very special, enjoyable evening for the Princesses, their families, friends and the Frederick community.
The Frederick Woman’s Civic Club looks forward to having you participate in Frederick’s continuing history of women’s service to our community. For 106 years FWCC has been committed to Frederick and we will be honored to have your participation in that commitment.
